A worker of former Defence Minister, Gen Theophilus Danjum rtd, Manasseh Zorto is considered currently on the run after allegedly defrauding his boss of approximately N2billion. Zorto, who was to be arraigned before a Federal High Court in Lagos by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) wasn't in court when his case was called up yesterday August 29th. The counsel representing the SFU, Chief Godwin Obla (SAN) told the trial judge, Okon Abang that law enforcement was still in pursuit for the accused.

He was from a Yoruba family, probably residing in Ketu (Ketou), a historical Yoruba settlement in Benin, believed to have been established by one of Oduduwa’s children. Kosola was born into a modest family and had a happy and energetic childhood. As a teenager, he began training as a warrior to defend his town. He was subsequently inducted into Oro, a clandestine Yoruba male society whose role is to guide society. However, in April 1860, in the midst of Kosola's initiation and training, the Dahomey invaded the town, perpetrated a vast number of causalities, and held the rest of the people captive.

Fenerbahce and Joseph Yobo Part ways
Turkish Super Lig club, Fenerbahce, announced yesterday Friday August 29th they've released Nigeria defender Joseph Yobo. Fenerbahce announced on the official website that because of restriction in how many foreign players, the club and Yobo had to part ways.
