 Divorce cake Emma Hurley, 40, from the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, celebrated the end of her seven-year marriage with a divorce cake designed to look like a graveyard (left), complete with a coffin containing her wedding and engagement rings. She is one of a growing number of women who choose to celebrate their divorces with cakes depicting their hateful feelings towards their husband. While many would consider the theme to be more than a little tasteless, Emma insists the cake was a good way of moving on from her ex. Nigerian women are now being trafficked to Italy undern the pretense that they can be working as nannies or in factories – but often find themselves working the streets as prostitutes. Their plight has been highlighted by Paris-based photographer Elena Perlino, originally from Italy, who began to notice the current presence of young African women taking care of the streets during her commutes from Turin. Super Eagles captain and Fernabache of Turkey defender, Joseph Yobo got married to beauty queen Adaeze Igwe at what is still termed the “oddest wedding of the decade” at midnight of December 31, 2009.
