Both set new state records for largest alligator to be killed in Mississippi, so clearly nobody should ever go to Mississippi again. This 4-metres, 328.2 kilos male alligator held the record for the heaviest alligator ever to be killed in Mississippi for about one hour. It took Beth Trammell and her team of six people an hour and a half to bring down the 328.2 kilos beast after it became hooked on their lines.
Trammell told the Clarion-Ledger that when the alligator finally surfaced beside the boat, she screamed, “Oh, my gosh. It’s the Loch Ness monster.” After another two hours, and the assistance of a few extra hunters, the alligator was hoisted into their boat and taken back to shore to be weighed and measured, and a new, albeit short-lived, state record was set. The previous weight record was 316.4 kilos, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife,Fisheries, and Parks. The state’s alligator hunting season, sponsored by the department, ends on Sept. 9. Hunters must apply for permits and attend alligator hunting training courses if they are selected through the department’s lottery. Two weeks after his son flew from Benin City to Lagos in the wheel compartment of an aircraft belonging to Arik Air, Daniel Ohikhena’s father denies claims that he abandoned his family.
Little is known about Daniel Ohikhena, the 13-year-old stowaway who flew from Benin City to Lagos in the wheel compartment of a plane belonging to Arik Air, by his schoolmates at Ogbe Junior Secondary School in the Edo State capital.
Shortly before his celebrated escapade, Daniel’s mother, Mrs. Evelyn Ohikhena, had withdrawn him from a private secondary school for want of money to pay his tuition fees. She had enrolled him in OJSS, which was about 500 metres from her residence.

Baby Born With Ears Under Its Chin [GRAPHIC PHOTO]
Birth defects are quite common around the world, some more than others. Every once in a while we see one that just catches our attention and makes us think back to whether or not we’ve seen it before. In this case, it appears to be a rare deformity that caused a baby born with ears under its chin. The image, taken from the popular photo site Imgur shows a newborn baby who was born with a few cranial birth defects, such as a deformed mouth and jawline, but more prominently the placement of the ears stands out.

Well, technically he's not my father-in-law yet as I have not married his daughter. But I want to marry her. I went to him today to ask for his daughter's hand in marriage, and instead of giving his blessing, he asked me to write an essay about myself and why I would want to marry his daughter. The doctors of a Hospital in New Delhi, India, declared on September 4, 2013, Wednesday that a pair of formerly conjoined twins, born in Nigeria, were healthy and happy after they were successfully separated in a marathon “nerve-wracking” operation in India by a team of 40 specialists.
