Plateau State Uni. renamed after elder statesman, Chief Solomon Lar.
The governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang, recently declared the renaming of the State College after statesman, Chief Solomon Lar, who died July 9th after a long sickness at the age of 80.The governor announced it while receiving the body of the late politician at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Int. Airport yesterday.
Late Chief Solomon Lar was a member of the 1st national parliament when Nigeria got independence in 1960 and was the 1st state Governor of Plateau state. He is set to be buried on the 13th of Dec. that has been declared a work free day in the state.
May his soul rest in peace..

Chocolate City & Brymo Saga : Case Adjourned Till Next Year.
The legal battle between Chocolate City Entertainment and its estranged artiste Ashimi Olawale Ibrahim aka Brymo is not even close to over while the case was on December 5, 2013 adjourned till January 14, 2014. The case that has been said to be heard at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos was suspended because the presiding judge Justice Bubba was absent.

Pop star Justin Bieber landed into trouble in Australia as he and his entourage were reportedly detained at the Brisbane, Australia airport yesterday, Dec. 5 while custom agents searched their luggage for drugs.
According to TMZ, weed was found on one of Justin’s friends, “the Australian Federal Police says a security check turned up an unknown amount of pot on a 23-year-old man in Justin’s entourage. The suspect was released, but got a ticket for allegedly importing drugs” …TMZ Sources say the suspect had an electronic device to smoke marijuana called a disposable vaporizer, which had residue in it. However, his attorney was at the court yesterday to pay a fine before he was allowed to go.
