You once said that some of your friends who are actresses encouraged you to become an actress. How did they manage to do that?

 I had a particular friend who was taking me for auditions. Back then, auditions were held at the National Theatre and Winnie’s Hotel in Surulere (Lagos). Actors would hang around and wait for audition notices. Those were the two most likely places artistes converge for auditions. My friend knew I always wanted to act and she was acting partly but in smaller roles. She was and is still more of an actress than a model till date. We are not really close friends anymore.

Business Insider reports a facebook page created today already has 30,000 likes. You will find over 28,000 pictures on Instragram already, and the selfie game is trending on twitter.

Before his illness and miraculous recovery, Babatunde Okungbowa aka OJB Jezreel‘s family never came under the light. Sure, we were all aware he was legally married to three wives but other than his first wife Mabel, we never really knew who the others were or how many children they had for him.

NET investigations have revealed the music producer is blessed with eight children (yup, I guess we can all cut 2face Idibia some slack now). Our correspondent gathered that OJB is actively involved in the lives of his wives and children and they all seem happy with their husband.

On December 18, the first baby to be born to transgender parents in Argentina was delivered via C-section in the province of Entre Ríos. The proud parents are 26-year-old Alexis Taborda and 28-year-old Karen Bruselario. Alexis delivered a girl, but lives as a man and Karen was born a man, but lives as a woman. Because of Argentina's Gender Identity Law passed in May of 2012, the couple have both been able to legally change their genders without gender reassignment surgery, which meant that when they got pregnant via natural means, it was the man, Alexis, who carried the baby.So what about the child? Well, the child was due on December 22 via scheduled C-section, but couldn't wait.Alexis started having contractions the weekend before the scheduled birth, and the child was born "early" weighing 9.37 pounds (that's a large baby) at Hospital Fermín Salaberry in Victoriain.The couple named their baby girl Génesis Evangelina.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have already been named the worst neighbours of 2013 in a new survey.

The TV personality, Kardashian, and her  rapper boyfriend, West, topped the listing of celebrities Americans prefer not to have as neighbours, based on a survey by property blog, Zillow.

On the site's annual Celebrity Neighbour Survey, one quarter of respondents claimed the couple, which is engaged to be married, designed for the Worst Neighbours of 2013, bumping them up from second place last year. Only two per cent of the Americans surveyed said they'd enjoy living close to West and Kardashian in 2014.

Contestants at a beauty pageant in Bogota Miss Penitentiary (Sao Paolo, Brazil), Miss Captivity (Lithuania), Miss Prisoner (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and Miss Spring (Siberia) are the normal events held in prison. The guidelines are the same like in other pageants. Can this happen in Nigeria?
