My boyfriend had just returned from the visit to Europe. I didn't think a lot of it until she updated her status again saying she was in Port Harcourt. My boyfriend had left for Port Harcourt two days earlier. Then on January 22nd, she wished her boo a pleased birthday. January 22nd is my boyfriend's birthday.

Court bars Police, SSS from arresting Sanusi

The Federal High Court gave the order on Friday. The Federal High Court in Lagos has given an order barring the Nigerian Police Force and the State Security Service, SSS, from arresting embattled Central Bank Governor, Lamido Sanusi.
Jusitce I.N. Buba granted the order on Friday based on a suit filed by Mr. Sanusi against the police, the SSS, and the Attorney General of the Federation.  The judge granted an order “restraining the Respondents, their privies, agents, representatives, or any other law enforcement agencies of the Government of the Federation from violating, interfering with, or imposing any restriction on the enjoyment of the Applicant’s right to personal liberty and freedom of movement pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice.”

Court remands man who padlocked son’s mouth

An Ebute Meta Magistrate’s Court, Lagos State, has ordered that 30-year-old Chris Elvis be remanded in prison for allegedly killing his four-year-old son, Godrich Elvis, while padlocking his mouth.

The magistrate, Ms S.O Solebo, said Chris should be remanded in prison pending legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution.

It was learnt that Chris had killed his son on the allegation that he was evil and responsible for his ill-fortune.

The security guard, who works with Merchant Navy, a security outfit, was said to have locked Godrich in a room, padlocked his mouth and beat him to death, including using a hot pressing iron on him at their home on Adetola Adelaja Street, Meiran, Lagos State.

 A West Virginia Pizza Hut has been shut down after the manager was caught on surveillance video peeing in the sink used to wash cooking utensils. Local media reports that the Mingo County health department has ordered the fast-food restaurant, Pizza Hut Corp., in the city of Charleston to shut down following the release of the disgusting surveillance video.

Russell was forced to reveal the reality following reports that Kimora was dating music exec Birdman. Nigerian hip-hop star, Eedris Abdulkareem has revealed he is now into farming.  In a recent interview with a popular tabloid, Eedris said he has invested the millions he made from music in a large-scale agro-business in Kano State, adding that most of his time is spent on the farm where he cultivates maize and other crops for export and also abroad where he sells his crops.

    “I am a farmer now. Since 2001, I have been fully engaged in agricultural activities and have investment in metals. I have vast land where I cultivate maize and other fruits for export in Kano,” he said.

According to the ‘Jaga Jaga‘ crooner, this aspect of his life has been kept secret because he doesn’t want distraction.

Fashola Bans Indecent dressing

Governor Babatunde Fashola’s administration has banned indecent dressing among female public servants.
 All forms of dresses that expose breasts, contours and other sensitive female body parts have been outlawed.
The decision was taken as a result of worsening cases of indecent dressing among female public servants at the Lagos State Government Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
Although PM News correspondent has observed that all forms of skimpy dresses or mini skirts, tight trousers revealing the contours, sleeveless dresses and blouses and body clinging dresses are worn by some female public servants as they walk about the secretariat.
