Although the actor who won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2014 AMVCA confirmed he's desire for a political post in 2015 he said that will not stop him from acting.  The happily married father who has definitely paid his dues as been acting for close to 12 years said ‘I’m not quitting acting but if they say I said so, I don’t know about that.’

POPULAR actor, John Okafor has decried the absence of adequate structures in Nollywood.

Also he criticised the recent visit of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria to President Goodluck Jonathan, which did not appear to go down well with some people who queried the motive in the first place. For these critics, the actors only went to grab a ‘piece of the national cake.’ And though the actors concerned have since defended their decision to pay the President a courtesy visit, popular Nigerian comic actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, is still not pleased.

A new nanny is reporting for royal duty! Kate Middleton and Prince William have chosen Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo to greatly help them with their son, Prince George. Borrallo was trained at London's Norland College, a company that specializes in childcare and nanny training. She recently started working together with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and will soon be accompanying the family on the tour of Australia and New Zealand in April 2014.

According to documents obtained by the Local 4 Defenders, an arrest warrant has been issued for the soulful singer.  Baker's latest legal issue involves her sprawling Grosse Pointe estate. Twitter's head of news, Vivian Schiller, momentarily sent Twitter into a self-reflective mini-frenzy when she revealed that the service might be eliminating some of its core features, namely @-replies and hashtags.
For now, the @-reply is the only way to connect a tweet with another account, and the hashtag is the main way to connect with a topic. Without the @-reply, the person you're trying to mention in the tweet would not get a notification. Although keywords can sufficiently connect topic-based tweets, the hashtag is the strongest and most effective tool for the collection of tweets around a given subject area.
Schiller made the comment during a speech on Monday at the Newspaper Association of America mediaXchange 2014 event in Denver, according to BuzzFeed tech editor Charlie Warzel and editor in chief Ben Smith.

Julius Agwu paid my law school costs, late Abagana's partner claims

 In a recent interview with Encomium mag, Angela Chukwu, the widow of the late comedian Chibuzor Ajaoku popularly called Abagana, who died in 2008, revealed that of her late husband's colleagues who made a guarantee to be there for her and her daughter, comedian Julius Agwu and Dauda have been helpful and said Julius even recently paid her law school fees. 

"Julius Agwu has truly shown that he is Abagana's father and mentor. In fact he paid for my law school. When he said it, I did not believe it until my alert convinced me. Dauda has also been there".

Abagana who is Julius Agwu's protege in the comic profession, died suddenly on January 24th 2008 leaving behind a wife and one year old daughter.
