During the recently held Worldwide Developers Conference, Tim Cook, Apple CEO actually directly downgraded Android, the free operating system used by most competing mobile-phone companies, such as Samsung.

"Many of these customers were switchers from Android. They had bought an Android phone, by mistake, and then sought a better experience. And a better life. And decided to check out iPhone and iOS." A statement for which Cook got a great audience laugh.

So during an interview on a programme in Australia yesterday, the residual members of TLC, Chilli and T.Boz, criticized Rihanna for wearing that see-through outfit to Monday's Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.

"Every time I see you you don't have to be naked,' T-Boz said. "It's easy to sell sex. It's hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say, 'Oh TLC must be jealous', but I call a spade a spade"

Tiwa Savage probably made the most spectacular entry ever at Star Music Trek Finale, Lagos when she rode onto stage in a powerbike to a packed out audience at the Eagles Club Arena, Surulere, Lagos.

After wave making performances at Markurdi and Ekwulobia, the Mavin Records artistes seemingly saved the very best for her Lagos fans as she performed a medley of her hit songs including Kelekele Love, Oyi, Ileke, Girlie O, Eminado, Quantity Over Quality with Traffic with svelte dance steps in sync with her back up dancers. 

She ended her performance with Dorobucci inviting fellow Mavin artistes, Reekado Banks, Aphrodija and Korede Bello to provide a present stopping performance that left fans ecstatic. Video link after the break.

Nollywood Actress, Amanda Ebeye has stated that she can act nude in any Nollywood movie if given 7.5billion naira.  In a recent interview , the ‘Clinic Matters’ star said

 “I cannot act nude but like I have said before, if you pay me about $50m, I will. Please who is the first to pay? I can shave my hair because I’m an actress. If the role requires it, if it is a beautiful script and the money is good, I will do it. It will not be because it is the trend. It is not because Mercy Johnson did it, so I should, no, that is not enough reason. Right now, the script has to be outstanding for me to be interested in shaving off my hair.”  On growing up, she said “I was a stubborn kid. I was never a tomboy. Tragedy at Yenagoa red light district: Ritualists plucked Prostitute's Eyes Out After Having S3x With Her In Bayelsa

A lady sex worker was brutally attacked by the alleged ritualists in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

The offenders are supposed to be ritualists as during the assault on the prostitute they plucked her eyes out. It had been gathered that besides the victim two more s3x workers were offered N30,000 each for their services but only the unnamed woman was tempted by easy money.

The victim who's the resident of Akwa Ibom State was working at Yenagoa red light district called Good Evening Street on Hospital Road in downtown Yenagoa, when three men in SUV appeared and wanted to take a ride with them.

32 year old Afusat Saliu (pictured right) has been deported from the UK after a plan to help keep her in the country failed. There was a plan against her deportation on the grounds that her two daughters, 4 and 2 (pictured above) face the chance of female genital mutilation in Nigeria.

Afusat had fled Nigeria in 2011, claiming her stepmother had threatened to circumcise her first daughter. She was pregnant again at the time and claimed she feared her second daughter would also be afflicted by FGM.
