In a bran new interview with City People magazine, the mother of 4 who refused to reveal the identity of her man, said she found love in the arms of her University of Ibadan schoolmate.

"I know I am blossoming but that is what happens when you are in love. I have found my soulmate, my friend, my brother and that is why I am glowing. It's not that I suddenly found love, the love has been there and we have been best of friends since our school days at University of Ibadan and when we met again years after, we remained best of friends. His kids and mine have always been wondering how the both of us can be this close, almost like brother and sister. I think they planned it. They were like why don't you two just get married and we started thinking and after a while, we felt this is God telling us its time and that's it"

Ebola: Primary & Secondary schools in Lagos set to resume on the 8th of Oct.



The NUT and other bodies and individuals have been from the September 22nd resumption date of primary and secondary schools in Lagos have succeeded because the Lagos state government have approved a brand new resumption date. Schools will now resume October 8th.  Governor Fashola approved the newest resumption date at a stakeholders'forum which held today Sunday September 21st in Lagos. He explained they made a decision to postpone the date to permit for the distribution of Ebola preventive materials in schools across their state

I can't stop blaming myself for my neighbour's broken marriage



I live together with my friend in a compound with two other tenants, Landlord doesn't live with us. One of the tenants whose apartment is adjacent ours is our close friend, a young man of 28 years who is married with a daughter of two years and a very young pretty wife of about 21 years.
Two weeks ago, at around 11pm, I was watching an action movie with my friend when we started hearing noises from our neighbour , the one who is our friend. They were arguing in these lines "I will get out of your house and never come back again....I am tired of this marriage...F**k you....F**k you too...You motherf**ker"

The other day I called a family meeting, in attendance was three of my daughters, two from the United states (Adaeze/Margaret) who have finished their master’s degree, looking for juicy employment, my eldest daughter Yvonne, who more or less runs my business. My first grandchild Olivia who is on vacation from school in Mauritius, my Mum, my last son Charles who runs his own fashion business and doesn't live with me, my younger brothers daughter Nancy waiting to move in with her husband and my wife Lady Di. A house full of women.

These beautiful little angels lost their mum in the Federal College of Education, Kano bomb blast that occurred on Wednesday September 17th. 15 students of the college lost their lives while 34 others were seriously injured. Around 1.30pm on that fateful day, terrorists climbed the fence of the institution, jumped into the institution premises and began shooting sporadically. One suicide bomber gained entrance into the classrooms and detonated the bomb on him, killing 15 students, certainly one of whom was these twins mother.

The young boy shocked listeners when he said in school that he aims to become an armed robber A 3-year-old Ghanaian boy left officials shocked when he told a delegation that his aim in life is to become an armed robber. The Tribune reports that the child made the shocking revelation at Asuogyaman in the Eastern region of Ghana during a visit by the District Chief Executive (DCE), Thomas Ampem Nyarko, and his delegation to mark the ‘my first day at school,’ initiative.

NBC sanctions radio station for playing Club version of Shoki, says the song By Lil Kesh's Not Banned – Tweets







Following reports that Lil Kesh‘s song, Shoki has been banned by the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation(NBC), the NBC has responded through its official twitter account that the song hasn't been outrightly banned. Even though the broadcast regulator mentioned that the song wasn't banned, a radio station was reportedly sanctioned for playing a team version of the song throughout the ‘Family Time'belt, the time when children have access to the mass media like TV and radio.

In 1956, when the Queen Elizabeth, the 2nd of England come to Nigeria, she visited the Eruwa Pineapple Plantation (now in Oyo State). My grandfather was the plantation manager then.
The farm used to supply the pineapple to the Lafia Canning factory in Ibadan, owned by Western Nigeria Development Corporation, WNDC, at the time. The citrus canned by the Lafia factory was supplied from the Apoje Farm Settlement near Ijebu Igbo (now in Ogun State)

Oyedepo Defends the high School fee charged by Private Universities




The founder of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, has defended the tuition fees charged by schools owned by the church, describing the provision of quality education being an expensive venture.

Private schools in Nigeria, including Covenant and Landmark universities, owned by the church in many cases are criticized as for being very expensive for average Nigerians to afford. But Oyedepo says Nigerians complain about the cost of education in private universities because they 've got their priorities misplaced.

Journalist Nicholas Ibekwe this afternoon shared audio proof of T.B Joshua offering journalists (who are covering the building collapse) 50,000 to 'fuel' their cars after he met with them behind close doors at his church premises. After giving them the money, he asked them what they planned to write and some of them said whatever he wants them to write. He asked them to talk about the people who were rescued/survived and not focus on the people who died.

Below are a few photos from the one-storey church building owned by Christ Chosen Church of God which collapsed yesterday September 19th. The building, which have been vacated recently by the church following its relocation to a larger site, was demolished by 8 workers when it caved in and fell on them. Non-Ghanaian Retailers get 30 days ultimatum to vacate Ghana Markets !




The Ghanaian Ministry of Trade and Industry has issued a 30-day ultimatum to non-Ghanaians in retail trade to leave 48 markets across the country where they mostly operate.
 
According to Ghanaian news site, CitiFM, in a public notice issued on Friday, the ministry stated that, “notwithstanding numerous interventions by the government to encourage non-Ghanaians engaged in retail trading in the market place to relocate, some non-Ghanaians have refused to comply with the directive.”

The ministry named 35 markets in Accra, 7 in Ashanti region and 2 each in the Brong Ahafo and Eastern regions. The rest are in the Northern and Upper East regions. The Trade Ministry further warned that the “non-Ghanaians who further contravene the provisions of the Act 865 in the GIPC Law 2013 shall be prosecuted.”
