The wife allegedly held down the maid and ordered her to cooperate so the husband could rape her A man and his wife in Lagos have been arrested and taken to court after they were accused of rape. Ezechima Patrick and his wife, Uzoima were said to have conspired to commit the crime with the wife holding down the 16-year-old maid and ordering her to cooperate. The Prosecutor, ASP Godwin Anyanwu, reportedly told the court: “Patrick conspired with his wife to defile the 16-year-old girl. Uzoima had overpowered the girl for the husband to rape her.’’ Anyanwu said further that Uzoima threatened to stab the victim if she put up any resistance. The duo were charged with conspiracy, child defilement and rape before a Magistrate court in Yaba but they denied the allegations.

This is a perfect case of “too little too late”. The highly unpopular regulatory body in Nigeria, NBC (National Broadcasting Commission) has placed a ban on YBNL artiste, Lil Kesh‘s smash single “Shoki“; arguably the hottest song in Nigeria right now.

The NTBB (Not To Be Broadcast) ban is nothing new in Nigerian music, as it’s been placed on several hit singles in the past. The news broke earlier today via popular Beat FM OAP, Toolz on twitter. The well-attended walk saw over 550 celebrities, volunteers and children take part in Slum2School Africa's Charity fundraising Walk which held in Lekki Lagos to guide the education of 1000 children surviving in slums and remote communities in Nigeria and build mentorship hubs to facilitate community development.
