In Egbeda market,  a carton of frozen chicken which formerly sold for N4,800 now sells for N5,500 while frozen turkey that sold for N5,900 now sells for N6,500 per carton. An average tuber of yam which was N300 before the Yuletide now sells for N500 while a gallon of kerosene that was N600 is now N700. A carton of indomie noodles which was N1,850 now sells for N2,500.
