Hungry Man gets 6 months jail for stealing two Sweets

Delvis Rodriguez-Ramos is a 21 year old homeless man who was very hungry. He walked into an Ocala store, located in Florida, and took a Twix and a Snickers bars.

An employee noticed the candy missing and he accused the homeless Rodriguez-Ramos of taking the candy. At first Rodriguez-Ramos denied taking anything, but then his guilty conscience made him return to the store and confess to taking Twix and Snickers bars which is worth about $2.
The employee then called police to report a theft in his store. Police arrested Rodriguez-Ramos who was already on probation for stealing food in the past. Rodriguez- Ramos pleaded guilty to stealing a Twix and a Snickers bar from the Ocala store.

“If you are hungry why didn't you find a job or seek help from a homeless shelter?” Asked Judge John Futch.

The Florida Judge then sentenced him to six month in jail, and he ordered the homeless man to pay a $500 fine. Now the homeless man will have food for at least the six months he will spend in jail.
