the lead, to be a do-er. Immediately, you may
think of many men who are passive. For these men
passivity can be a means not of leading but of
control or manipulation, what is known as passive-
agressive behaviour.
This trait emerges in a man when his confidence
has been badly shaken or when his masculine
self-image was wounded at an early age.
So, how does a wife enter into the process
of helping her "withdrawn man" come out of himself?
