Army Checkpoints Become Bribe-points In Ekiti - @kfayemi

Men of the Nigerian Army posted to Ekiti boarder town roads for security purpose must be checked before its too late, they now collect bribe forcefully from motorists (public transport drivers). Our Source revealed that on his way to Lagos from Ado on Wednesday 19th, June 2013Ọmọ Oódua Reporter witnessed a scene in Ita-Ure/Okemesi junction axis where a bus driver gave N100 to a Soldier, we also learnt that any driver who refuse to give them their usual egunje or try to challenge them for taking bribe will be punished mercilessly and delayed. We hereby call on Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi and Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen OA Ihejirika CFR to save Ekiti People from this exploitation/harassment.
