Brother and sister claim they were having s-èx not stealing a TV [PICTURED]

Siblings told police they were having s-èx and not trying to steal a TV, according to reports.

A brother and sister used a harrowing defense. They were having s-èx when they were allegedly found in the bathroom of a bar in Massachusetts, trying to swipe the TV, police said.

The incident took place Sunday night in the Samuel’s Sports Bar at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, where the siblings Robert and Amanda Larrivee were charged with attempted robbery, according to reports.

A customer using the bathroom reported that she heard a man and a woman enter and then try to take the TV. The woman ran off while the suspects were busy.

"The witness quickly told the manager what happened. The manager and another employee locked the door of the ladies' room so the couple could not escape. Police were called to the scene," Springfield police Sgt. John Delaney said.

Police responded to the scene after 9:00 pm and confronted the couple. That's when the Larrivees allegedly claimed to be engaged in a bathroom encounter.

Police also said the two had tried before to remove the TV from the men's room. Robert Larrivee, 38, of West Springfield, Massachusetts, and Amanda Larrivee, 30, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, were charged with theft over $250.

Robert Larrivee also faces a charge of threatening to commit a crime after he allegedly threatened to harm the arresting officer.
The siblings were charged in Springfield District Court
