Chris Brown Arrested for Assault in D.C

Singer Chris Brown was caught this morning and charged with felony strike, the D.C. Downtown Police Division has told CBS News. D.C. authorities spokesperson John Metcalf claimed the 24-year-old Brown found himself in a real altercation with an adult male nearby the N Resort located on E and 15th road about 4:25 a.m. regional time.

DCPD did not disclose the condition of the victim, but claimed "he is alive."Chris Hollosy, a 35-year-old male, was also caught in the incident and was charged the same.

Brown has been having problems since 2009, when he was caught for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna and was first placed on  probation.

Earlier that month, the promoter of four Chris Brown shows in Canada scheduled july 1st  concert ended the activities after consulting with Brown and in mild of his personal and health-related issues.

The R&B celebrity had his probation reinstated in early July after he was involved with an alleged hit-and-run accident. He recently reached a civil compromise with the driver of the car. Brown also suffered a seizure earlier in the day that month.
