Clergymen from the Niger Delta, light emitting diode by Prophet Jones Erue, on Saturday, took on Leader of Religious Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, for allegedly criticising clerics from the region, for attempting to reconcile the G-7 governors with the People Democratic Party. Publishing underneath the aegis of International Peace Relief Initiative, the clerics in a statement closed by Erue, described Oritsejafor's record as political and laughable and accused the CAN Leader of having involved with politics of calumny and name dropping.
“We're disappointed that a leader could sit and view his two young ones struggle while the remainder people suffer only to come and blackmail people who get their time and energy to find answers to the crisis.”
The
record claimed number level of blackmail or intimidation would deter
them from the respectable objective of rescuing the nation from imminent
collapse.
It says , “It is shocking that Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the CAN Leader, may manage dilemmas of immense gravity and national importance with levity and without discretion.
The
first and easiest point to learn about a man is his name; it is just a
waste that the CAN president doesn't know the name of the group of
clerics he is approaching nor their affiliates.
“Expecting him to have small knowledge on what they are a symbol of, is likely to be tantamount to exerting too much stress on his ageing gray matter. We're asking his aides and particular personnel to do their job properly and end exposing that great person of God to disrepute.”
“For the CAN president to say CAN is apolitical is laughable, as the same president is involved with politics of calumny and name-dropping. We want to place it on report that the bishops and clerics in that body might not own personal jets, but they're men of unquestionable figure, dependable leaders, and stewards of peace and holders of reliable degrees.”
