On the 30th of October 2013, 37-year-old Obado Uzoma Simeon was found murdered in Parra town, North Goa, India.  In accordance with Reports, about 20 men, with their faces protected, had attacked some Nigerians outside a restaurant in Parra village.

Uzoma escaped the very first attack, but he and another Nigerian, Obinna Paul Obi were again targeted later, and this time around, Uzoma was hacked to death.

Bitterly angered by Uzoma's demise, hundreds of Nigerians staged a protest against the killing. Many Nigerians gathered at Porvorim Highway with Uzoma's lifeless human body and they clogged the traffic.

They theoretically started assaulting policemen, local people and also vandalized few shops. In turn, Porvorim natives became really crazy, started whipping up Nigerians, then brutally assaulted the Nigerian in the video (Link bellow), overcome him up till he bled all in the clear presence of policemen.

According to the police, rivalry between the area Indian Hard drug traffickers and Nigerian 
traffickers is to be blamed for Uzoma'death.

Sources stated that in a hard drug rivalry event in November 2012, Uzoma had theoretically shot at one Palyekar's young brother nevertheless the shot hit the side of a car.
This event activated the hard drug war  between the Nigerians and the area drug traffickers.

Following the protest, Goan police caught 53 Nigerians.
Goa's Main Minister Manohar Parrikar requested police to track down Nigerians living illegally in the former Portuguese colony so they could be deported.

A minister in the state's Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party government, Dayanand Mandrekar, stirred more controversy by expressing: "Nigerians are like cancer ".
