Just In: ASUU Strike "Will End Today" - Pres. Jonathan

There were clues that after today's meeting between Leader Goodluck Jonathan and the Academic Team Union of Universities (ASUU), the four month strike of the lecturers might eventually end.
The meeting began at about 2:30 pm in Abuja. It had in attendance the Leader, the Vice Leader, ministers of knowledge and labour. The ASUU was presented by their Chairman, Doctor Fagge, and other people of the executive of the Union. The Leader of Nigerian Labour Congress, Mallam Abdulwaheed Omar, was also there.

While trading pleasantries with the ASUU delegation, Leader Jonathan mentioned:
"I really hope that strike will end today. Our youngsters have suffered enough. We ought to locate a solution."
