Lovely work out watch that is appropriate and fashionable.

If you didn't have the sports-oriented watch you wanted for holiday, and you're longing for a really attractive and affordable watch that helps you stay in pace with 2013 trends along with time, the Freestyle USA Sprint Watch does a great deal, for really very little. Just $45.00 brings you a wrist watch with a wonderful, bold look, accented with bright colors (a must for 2013), and also a black, flexible, polyurethane strap and polycarbonate housing that make the watch as tough and durable, since it is trendy. It is also water-resistant up to 30m (but the literature says don't wear it in a sauna or hot spa where heat + water can sabotage it).

The Sprint Freestyle has plenty of bells and whistles. The Japanese quartz movement is reliable, but the watch doesn't just tell enough time and date. In addition, it serves up alternatives for dual time, and dual time alarms, and also a 1/100's stopwatch chrono up to at least one hour with 10-30 lap memory, and present timers (1,3,5,10.15,20,25,30,45, and 60 mins). One button lets you use an EL backlight to see what time it's, even when you're in a movie theatre or other low light or dark situation. If you wish to be reminded of something (e.g. to exercise) there's an selection for an hourly chime. The battery lasts 2 yrs, and low light or dark conditions. Movement: japanese-quartz

The Freestyle Sprint will come in a men's and women's size, and in attractive combos of Blue/Black, Green/Black, Pink/Black or Gunmetal. I find the pink version shown to the left. I really like the watch and many individuals comment "cool watch" when I'm walking on town. The big numbers are easy to see, which really is a real plus. My only problem with the watch that might not be one at all for the more digital-watch-savvy consumer, but I discovered it difficult to cope with a lot of different functions using only three buttons that you simply need to press in sequence or a number of times, to obtain the specified result. This isn't uncommon with digital watches, but don't lose the detailed instructions, if you ever want to re-set the watch!

The Sprint Watch is a great accessory to have while working out. This watch having an easy to learn, digital display, supplies a 30-lap memory, a 1/100-second stopwatch that functions for 1 hour and a preset countdown timer. An electroluminescent backlight provides lots of illumination for easy reading of the display, whilst the polyurethane band and that durable polycarbonate 44 mm case and band ensures your watch will work in if gets wet, to 30 m water resistance.

This columnist was introduced to Freestyle watches this past year, at an editor's preview. But the company has existed since 1981, when a few Free-spirited Southern Californian action sport addicts decided to make products with purpose and function, hence the name "Freestyle." Based on the sheer selection of function of the watches showcased for Freestyle initially viewing, Freestyle is a title that fits this company's watches, very well.
