Funke Akindele & Osas Ighodaro In Ituen Basi – For Colored Girls In Lagos.



On Sunday 15th June 2014, the Nigerian adaptation of the renowned play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide. When The Rainbow Is Enif took centre stage at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Funke Akindele who played the Lady in Orange and Osas Ighodaro who played the Lady in Purple, stepped out on the red carpet in pieces by the same designer Ituen Basi from her presentation at the 2012 LFDW.

“Jenifa” star Funke Akindele joined stars like Tiwa Savage who have rocked Ituen Basi’s newspaper print dress which pays homage to the city of Lagos.
She styled the dress with silver drop earrings, and red peep-toe heels. Her look was finished with wavy chic hairstyle, and red lipstick.
Tinsel actress Osas Ighodaro selected a sleeveless multi-coloured print blouse with fringe. The top was showcased with a sheer white skirt, but Osas opted for white pants.
Osas accessorized with white pearl earrings, a purple cocktail ring and a pair of white ankle strap heels. In the beauty department, she chose purple eye shadow, and luscious pink lipstick.
