Photos: Angry Brazilian Fan Destroy Properties In The Streets After World Cup 7-1 Humiliation At Hands Of Germany

Brazil’s distraught football fans are waking up from their mass World Cup humiliated of 7-1 by Germany in the World Cup semi-final yesterday. Angry fans quickly turned their frustration to anger as reports of violence breaking out emerged. Some turned on each other, others rioted on the streets and a fan has been captured taking out his anger following the host nation’s humiliating defeat – by smashing his flat screen television on the road outside his house. Video footage captured the unknown man carrying the wide screen into the street and throwing it onto the ground in frustration.

Riot police were also out in force in several Brazilian cities in case trouble kicked off. In Rio de Janeiro officers descended on Copacabana beach amid reports of gunfire. Authorities were called to a densely-populated area of Sao Paulo after football supporters reportedly set a bus alight, leaving it as little more than a burnt-out shell.
This morning, the world’s press took turns in compounding the humiliation with mock-ups photos are being circulated on social media. See more photos and video inside…
