I recently received this press statement from Jim Iyke's team. You recall Jim Iyke had on the 30th of July announced on his IG page he was fleeing Liberia after a outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in the country. Jim's statement continues after the jump..

"May I humbly apologize if my comments on Ebola – based on fear – were taken out of context."  The last thing I wanted to do was to alarm anyone. 

My heart goes out to all the families who have been affected by the Ebola virus – those who have lost their lives or loved ones, those who are still bravely fighting the disease
and all of the communities who are battling to keep the infection under control. You are all in my prayers.  

As I travel constantly across continents, most recently USA, Senegal, Liberia, Ghana, Gambia, I have been screened where and when necessary along with the other passengers and I believe it is the responsibility of every citizen to be vigilant and help contain the outbreak by following the advice of the local and international medical professionals and government officials".

Oh dear, after Jim Iyke announced yesterday that he was leaving Liberia for fear of contacting the deadly Ebola virus, a lot of Nigerians went online and asked that the actor be isolated and monitored for a while soon as he arrives Nigeria in order for him not to spread the virus, in case he carries one.

  An ‘afraid’ Jim has posted another picture of himself but refused to disclose his location, so that another ‘Isolate war’ won’t arise online, which might cause the government of the country he is presently at, to start ‘looking’ for him. We love Jim btw.

Nollywood bad boy, Jim Iyke, who was rumoured to have dumped his girlfriend – Ghanian actress, Nadia Buhari – has opened up that they're still together, describing the report as false. The actor in a statement said, 

“I can assure you that whatever you may have heard regarding the misunderstanding between Jim and Nadia is pure speculation. Nonetheless, it is normal for lovers to disagree with each other occasionally or they would not be human beings. We are aware of the rumour about Jim and Nadia’s breakup, we have decided to ignore it because it is all false. They are still together.”

The actor explained this during an interview session with Emmer Emerson of Golden Icons, that sometimes people allow their emotions to over shadow them and as such, are bound to say something’s which they never meant. 

It would be recalled that when Jim Iyke broke up with Keturah Hamilton, she bashed him publicly saying his show was fake, and promised to reveal his secrets.

It appears Emma Agu's many open letters can't break them, and neither can Keturah, Jim Iyke's ex. Jim and Nadia had a significant misunderstand weeks back and Nadia walked out from the relationship, especially with the whole Emma Agu drama calling Jim out and also posting his recorded phone conversations with him online. It had been very messy, but I suppose Nadia love her man, and stumbled on his defence to save the situation.

"I was not Involved In an Accident", says Jim Iyke

Nollywood star, Jim Iyke, has denied being associated with in any car accident. Over the weekend, reports surfaced online he had been associated with an accident, while driving a Chevrolet Camero belonging to Nadia Buari, in Accra. The reports further said he went into a coma after the accident. However, on Thursday, the actor stated via his Twitter handle he hadn't been associated with any car accident. He also stated that there are all types of ugly and desperate people peddling a number of false news.
