Sunny Okosuns' family disowns former queen, Ethel, ‘she is perhaps not our father's daughter'

The family of late singer Sunny Okosuns has disowned claims by former beauty queen and Nigeria project director, Exquisite Face of Africa, Ethel ‘Okosuns’; insisting she is not a daughter to the late singer and legend Sunny Okosuns.

Ethel who was Miss Earth 2005 is known by associates with the surname ‘Okosuns’ and in September 2013, had granted an interview to Vanguard during which she repeatedly
flashed back to memories she held of her ‘father’ Sunny Okosuns, describing him as a man with a large heart, whom she misses and continues to draw inspiration from.

A lot of people might find it very difficult to believe that you are 67 with your looks; what is the magic?
There is no magic; I just find myself like this. It’s true people tell me that I don’t look my age and whenever they say so, I get back home and look at myself in the mirror. But within myself, I know I am old. Truth is, I don’t have any magic than to give God the glory for a good health.

Ex-beauty queen Susan Hart is married to renowned medical doctor, Sunny Kuku

 It's probably not news to some of you but I recently found out..:-). Susan Hart, former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 1994, is married to Sunny Kuku, renowned medical director who co-owns the popular Eko Hospital in Lagos and also the chairman of EcoBank Nigeria.  The couple recently stepped out at the wedding of Dr Kuku's son, Damilare Kuku on August 17th and Susan played her role as the high chief's wife. They've been married for a while, not sure how long though.

THE decade of the ’70s was characterised in Nigeria by Afro-fusion music, with the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti as the major inspirer. But alongside this revolution, juju music was also flourishing with Ebenezer Obey and Sunny Ade as major exponents who were perceived at the time by their numerous fans as archrivals. An intriguing aspect of this development was that the two musicians had their different styles, backgrounds and approaches, a situation which made this perceived rivalry a healthy one that added value to the emerging juju music of that period.

Music star, Sunny Neji penultimate week gave out the new I-Phone 5 to Wole Fagbenro, a fresh graduate from Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) on his birthday. The music star called for birthday poems on his Facebook and Twitter accounts with the reward of the new I-Phone 5. Wole emerged the winner of the poem competition and has been presented with the phone. This was the content of his poem; "Many have come claiming to be Mr. Fantastic, but nothing ever rivals to a classic. Through the changes, when many remained static you showed great consistency and went unchained."
