The honour is element of ceremonies observing the 60th birthday & 7th coronation anniversary of the Osemawe of Ondo Empire, Oba Victor Kiladejo.

 Based on the Council of the Ondo Empire, this is to accept her achievements in the film industry and as an illustrious child of the state..

“It was probably the biggest wake-up call for me. I had to stop acting like a little teenager, a crazy, wild young guy. You can talk with all my girls that I did mess with before, and it’s never been a violent history. I learned from it, and it was almost like… I wouldn’t say it happened for a reason, but it was something to trigger my mind to be more of a mature adult. (AP)A child’s whispered 911 call seeking help at an eastern Pennsylvania home has led to the arrest of a man accused of threatening to kill a woman with a butcher knife.

Coopersburg police say they responded to the home early Sunday after the child called emergency dispatchers, whispered “Help us” and hung up.

About two weeks ago, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Malam Lamido Sanusi, was reported to have called for the ban of ethno-religious groups in the country as a way of curbing insecurity. And just when we thought the dust had settled on the matter, the senior pastor of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel,  Gideon Oyedepo, has declared that he had no right to make such a call.

Sanusi, while speaking at an inter-faith dinner organized by the Northern Reawakening Forum (NRF) in Abuja, was quoted to have said among others: “…I am opposed to regional, ethnic and religious groupings in this country. Infact, I would like the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Jamatul Nasril Islam (JNI), Afenifere and all such other groups to be banned.”
