Aneke twins drag MultiChoice to court for airing movie without permission

Popular nollywood twins, Chidimma and Chidiebere Aneke have sued Multichoice for showing their movie without permission. The said movie, Compulsory Risk, premiered in 2009. The premium tv povider, Multichoice, was further sued for allegedly presenting fake documents while defending its actions.The film was aired on November 5, 2010, that the Aneke twins reportedly recorded with their phones. According to the twins, “we went for the copyright of ‘Compulsory Risk'on 04/09/2009, and we were given the Acknowledgement of Copyright Notification on the 14/12/2009.aneke twins

Weird: Man Who Left 14 Children Was Buried With All His Belongings [Pix/Video]

 At the ceremony, no one person was permitted to cry, those caught weeping were chased away.
The deceased, who left 14 children and two wives apparently led a very lonely life in his later years. He lived by himself in his 4-bedromm semi-permanent house. Matembo reportedly lived alone after ordering his wives Kanze Ngala and Janet Kakala (deceased) to vacate his house after his children allegedly neglected him 15 years ago. This indicates the late Matembe wanted his funeral to be his final closure together with his request to lock the home and bury the keys with him. The neighborhood elders were put off by the man's unorthodox request.

One can authoritatively tell you that soon; he (Terry G) will announce his wedding plans to the media.”

The source added that Terry G will probably finalize the wedding plans in mid-2014. Terry G and his UK based baby mama, Mimi have been dating for sometime and they both had a boy in the UK.

Lagos To Pay Retirees Pension Under CPS

The Lagos State Government is set to pay the accrued retirement benefits of another batch of employees, who retired from the State Public Service under the Contributory Pension Scheme, on Wednesday, 12th February, 2014.

Director-General, Lagos State Pension Commission (LASPEC), Mr. Rotimi Adekunle Hussain disclosed this in a statement released by the Commission recently, saying that the retirees would be receiving their entitlements during the tenth Retirement Bond Certificates’ presentation ceremony, in Lagos.

When the news anchor realized his mistake and tried to go back to talking about Robocop, Samuel L. Jackson wasn't having any of that. "Let's talk about Robocop." The reporter said. "Oh, hell no! The “Black Skinhead” rapper took time out to thank everyone, including his fans via Twitter yesterday afternoon. Journalists and music publications celebrated Kanye’s debut album by reviewing their 10-year-old critiques of The College Dropout, publishing unreleased interviews with the 36-year-old rapper, and revealing where the 17 people Ye mentioned in the outro of “Last Call” were 10 years later. Kanye’s barber Ibn Jasper shared a few photos of Kanye’s The College Dropout celebration with his fiance Kim Kardashian. Kim was photographed peering over the bear-shaped cake, while Kanye appeared to be reflecting over his decade old album.

Doctor Bisola Clark, wife of Main E. K Clarke whose two kids, Adeife(10) and AKinola (14) were killed in Iyabo Obasanjo's convoy on the 20th of May 2003 has delivered an open letter to the Obasanjos expressing her distaste in the manner they handled the death of her children. Mrs Clarke, who was not married to the elder-statesman at the time the event happened, claimed she found the necessity to speak to up after Iyabo claimed in her open letter to her dad that the death of the youngsters was what sparked her to pursue political appointments.

 

In the open letter, Mrs Clarke said none of the Obasanjo's have been there for her emotionally since the sad day she lost her two children in assassination attempt on Iyabo Obasanjo's life.

NYSC to extend service year to 18 Months?

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, may extend the duration of National Youth Service from Twelve months to Eighteen months should the Scheme decide to act on  the recommendation of the Niger State Governor, Governor Babangida Aliyu, forwarded  to the Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Johnson Olawunmi, in Minna on Monday, Omo Oodua corresspondents have reported.
