The Police however alleged that he had participated in the slaughter of seven people, including women and children.
Looking unkempt with tangled beard, Zakari, 30, said it took him two minutes to slaughter a person while the duty of other members of his gang was to tie their victims.
The terror suspect who said this in an interview with newsmen at a Police detention facility in Abuja on Wednesday, confessed that he belonged to a five-man gang which specialised in “slaughtering human beings whenever we get one.”
The suspect, who spoke through an interpreter, named other members of the slaughtering team to include, Hassan, Garba, Mohammed and Isa all of whom are still at large.

Malaria prevalence down by 43% in Nigeria – Official
Dr Humphrey Aniebo, the Programme Manager of the Malaria Elimination Programme in the Federal Capital Territory, on Wednesday said malaria prevalence in Nigeria had dropped by 43 per cent.
Aniebo said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja. He attributed the achievement to the effort of the various anti-malaria initiatives in the country. Aniebo said the agency had trained 30 model care givers to help in eradicating malaria in the territory.

Married Women With Children Nabbed trying To Sell 2-Year Old Boy For ₦ 600,000
Commander of the QIS, which comprises various security agencies, Capt. Mohammed Tanko, said the women were arrested at Eta-Agbor Road where they were transacting the sale of an unidentified, two-year old boy for N600, 000.
Tanko said, “The arrested suspects also attempted to bribe the QIS officials with N500, 000 when they were rounded up.”

Lagbaja Cries Out! My Life Is Now In Danger For Refusing To Perform For PDP
Recently, Lagbaja rejected the offer to perform at the grand finale of the Osun PDP Governorship election campaign which held at Osogbo and which was also used to host the President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the musician has cried out that his musical shrine, “The Wonderland” has received too many august visitors in the last one week from the Department of State Security Service (SSS) and Armed Mobile Policemen on the instructions from order from above. They have continuously lay siege for Lagbaja and after a futile attempt to get him, has resorted to harassment and molestation of staff members of his company.
Lagbaja, who spoke from the UK, said he has been away from Nigeria in the last 41days owing to performance he had in London and Canada. He also claimed to have received threats to his life to either debunk the story published by some major newspapers in the country or face the music.
After conversation with his friend of over 15years who also happens to be a close ally of the President, the PDP National Secretariat promised to double his remuneration if he decided to return home from UK to perform and honour Mr. President in Osun State. That his performance will further weaken the notion and belief in the residents of Osun that Omisore killed Bola Ige.
He however appealed to Nigerians to keep praying for him as he stands for Justice.
