2014 Oscars awards took place on Sunday night March 2nd at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

 Kenyan beauty Lupita Nyong'o won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress award for her role as Patsy in 12 years a slave... 

"When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child, that no matter where you're from, your dreams are valid" Lupita said during her acceptance speech
