 Football really brings about the extremes in some die-hard fans either good or bad especially in regards to supporting clubs. A Chelsea fan, Lee Mitchell tweeted he was going to tattoo Nigerian defensive midfielder, John Mikel Obi if he scores a goal at the English FA cup – which Mikel did breaking the deadlock with a header against Derby County last weekend. Well, the fan kept to his own side of the bargain and tattooed Mikel's name on his bare buttocks.

So they’re not exactly cute, but if you came of age during the 90s, chances are you have at least regrettable tattoo anyway. (Raise your hand if that same tattoo is in the shape of a butterfly!)   But the latest temporary smart tattoos do much more than serve as a symbol of misspent youth; they can read a body’s internal processes and alert the user of potential dangers like a dip in blood sugar or a drop in kidney function− all without having to draw any blood.

A recent collaboration between researchers at the University of California San Diego and the University of Toronto created a lightweight and stick-on “smart tattoo.” Embedded in its fibers are a set of “ion-selective electrodes” which is a cooler way of saying “sensors that detect the pH or salt levels of the skin, as well minerals like potassium, and even blood oxidation."

At a service held yesterday, Sunday January 13th at his church auditorium, Pastor Chris Okotie told his members (a few of them LIB readers :-)) that tattooing their body or even undergoing plastic surgery is not a sin before God. He said a lot of people misinterpret a scripture in the bible which is supposedly against body art and enhancement. He said getting tattoos and plastic surgery is an individual decision and has nothing to do with God. Some people don't agree with him.
