This drama just unfolded on twitter. Joy Bewaji is a writer and publicist. She claims Makosi, an Abuja based presenter has released her book, without her permission. According to her, Makosi begged her to make her a star, so they agreed on a book. Joy wrote the book for two months and after presenting it to Makosi, Joy said she rubbished it and said she didn't like it. Now Makosi just launched a book in Abuja, the same book. About 13,000 soldiers from seven countries (Thailand, United States, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia) participated in Cobra Gold 2013, a joint, multi-national military training exercise which focuses on maintaining and improving military-to-military relationships among nations.
And the training has been hosted annually by Thailand since 1982. During this year’s training, Thai soldiers got to show the U.S. Marines how to catch a cobra with their bare hands, as well as drink the snake blood to survive.

Some hours ago, there were reports on some blogs that Genevieve Nnaji has allegedly threatened to slap Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) artiste, Skales for allegedly saying in his song that he would want to give the star actress a 'D'. However, the make-believe 'goddess' in Nigeria has debunked the rumour. Reacting to it on twitter this afternoon, the Imo State born queen of Nollywood advised a fan of hers never to believe everything written about her.
"Pls hon, don't believe everything you read," Genevieve replied a fan who earlier wrote, "pls mk d skales slap such a dirty one, he wont eva forget." Meanwhile, checks done by Ọmọ Oódua blog evealed that the rumour emanated from a joke website, which many now thought to be real.

You hear some stories and you are like... Could this really be true? This is one of such stories:
An area known as Imeohia Mmaku in Awgu LGA of Enugu State recently came under the siege of robbers cum kidnappers, who invaded the community to perpetrate their heinous crime. On the fateful day, a priest was said to have led some notorious gang of robbers/kidnappers in the deadly operation.
While the operation lasted, the gang sealed off entrances and exits to the community. Clad in a white cassock, Rev. Fr. James Ani, in company with about eight other people held the community by the jugular and laid siege on their prey for hours.
It was gathered that they combed the community to see if they could find a prime target to kidnap on which they could feed. As the siege was going on, a team of anti-robbery patrol team usually on routine checks on communities in the state was passing by and accosted the gang.
