The last note by a part-four law student of Obafemi Awolowo University, who allegedly committed suicide, Dipo Ige, was that his books should be buried with him. Ige was said to have committed suicide in his private hostel penultimate Saturday at Ashiefa, Ibadan Road, Ile-Ife and was buried at his hometown in Iree, Osun State on Sunday.
While controversy still surrounds Ige’s action, the deceased in the note also cautioned that his girlfriend should not be blamed for his death. It was gathered that Ige and his girlfriend had a misunderstanding before his death.
Also, in the note obtained by a punch correspondent, Ige said his valuables should be distributed to certain people.

The 2 dudes booked a lodging in Jinja through the day. After about 20 minutes, the caretaker started hearing se'xual moans and he'd no option other than to call the police.
In accordance with Uganda's new law, it's illegal and punishable to not report any gay activity. Once the police broke into the room, they busted the guy wearing the short sleeved checked shirt seriously taking care of the guy in boxers... They're now in police custody.

Dearest Omo Oodua Readers: Can a child bring a couple closer?
I read one other lady's predicament on this blog a few days ago and sadly I am in the same situation. The spark moved from my marriage barely a year after it had been contracted. My marriage wasn't what I expected it to be and sometimes I wish I were single again. But unlike one other lady, my husband is not just a brute and I am not willing to quit with this marriage without at least trying. We don't have any children yet and a close friend advised me to try to have a child and it will bring my husband and I closer together again. Is this for sure? Because I don't want my children in the future from a broken home so I am worried about getting pregnant for a man and a relationship I am no more sure of.
