Update: Rampaging soldiers set Lagos BRT buses on fire [Photos]

 Pandemonium broke out in the Onipanu area of Ikorodu Road, Lagos, on Friday after a soldier was allegedly knocked down and killed by one of the buses in the fleet of LAGBUS on the BRT lane. ( If you missed the first post, click here)
The soldier was said to have been knocked down after he allegedly rode on the BRT lane and subsequently died as there was no immediate medical attention.
The driver of the bus, it was gathered, fled after the accident.

The video according to Gyang is a moving tribute to the good men in her life – a number of men were featured in the video including M.I Abaga, Ice Prince Zamani, Audu Maikori, Jason Abaga (M.I’s youngest brother) but the singer’s baby daddy Jesse Jagz is conspicuously missing. Nigerian Troops nab 3 female undercover operatives of Boko Haram

The Nigerian army have released a statement stating that they have arrested three women who worked as secrete cover operatives for Boko Haram. Find the statement below.

In the aftermath of the failed suicide bombing attempt on a military facility by a female terrorist who blew herself up in Gombe recently, troops have arrested three suspected female terrorists who have been secretly recruiting ladies into the female wing of the terrorists group. The suspects, Hafsat Usman Bako, Zainab Idris and Aisha Abubakar were intercepted while travelling to Madagali from where they were to transit to the forest to reunite with their cohorts. Nigerian acclaimed author, playwright and Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka who turns 80 in two weeks, speaks to Reuters about the Islamist militant sect Boko Haram, as well as religion.

Soyinka
 in his Abeokuta home told Tim Cocks that Nigeria is suffering greater carnage at the hands of Boko Haram. He also said their mission is far worse than the Biafra war from 1967 to 1970 which saw lots of bloodshed.

A Catholic priest, Father Stanislaus Hogan, 63, who had 1555 child pornography images, (from 3 months to 16 years old pictures of children) in his bedroom at St Ignatius College in Adelaide where he worked has been charged to court after police found those images in his locked room at the college. 

His main interest was in images of boys in the low-to-mid teens, the very age range of children at the school where he was employed.
