WRESTLING legend The Undertaker has returned to the WWE — just in time to defend his unbeaten WrestleMania Streak.
The 49-year-old star, real name Mark Callaway, has been out injured since his victory over Triple H last year’s Mania.
Taker’s comeback at a WWE house show in Waco, Texas, defied critics who said he may be too crocked for his annual WrestleMania outing.
The Phenom teamed with Sheamus to battle the Rhodes Scholars combo of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. Taker took the win for his team with a nostalgic Tombstone on Sandow to the delight of the Texan crowd.
The speculation is now that Undertaker will wrestle CM Punk, the WWE’s top bad guy, at WrestleMania 29 – although there are many other possible opponents.
Many WWE superstars were quick to tweet positive responses to Undertaker’s reappearance.
Randy Orton said: “Got to watch Undertaker perform in Waco tonight at the Smackdown live event. Very motivating to watch him do his thing.”
