Cyclists in Melbourne, Australia doffed their duds over the weekend in protest of almost everything during the World Nak-é-d Bike Ride.
The group's Facebook page describes its mission statement as follows:
"We face automobile traffic with our nak-é-d bodies as the best way of defending our dignity and exposing the unique dangers faced by cyclists and pedestrians plus all the negative effects of oil, cars, war, consumerism non-renewable energy as well as promoting positive body image."
While clothing was optional during the "recreational" event, sunblock, helmets and shoes were not.
