Mario Ballotelli gets into the news for all the wrong reasons. As a public figure, the talented footballer rules the tabloids with stories of his antics, most of them irresponsible. In a rather unsurprising “latest tribute” to misconduct, he has been suspended for the next three Serie A games after insulting a match official in the game against Fiorentina.
Balotelli will miss matches against Napoli, Juventus and Catania’s visit.

After picking up his fourth booking of the season in the 2- 2 draw against Fiorentina on Sunday, Balotelli was to be automatically suspended before insulting one of the assistant referees earned him two more bookings.
The striker, who left Manchester City for Italy in the January transfer window, was infamous for his outburst with coach Roberto Mancini before moving to Milan. Ever since then, he has failed to leave the spotlight for one reason or the other.
Milan presently sits third in the Serie A, four points behind Napoli in the fight for second place and a direct Champions League spot.
While Juventus maintain a nine- point lead, Balotelli will have fewer roles to play in the fight for the scudetto, he has henceforth scored 10 goals in 11 games for both club and country.
