32-year-old Man Arrested For Raising False Alarm About Missing Manhood

The Police force on Monday arraigned a trader, John Fadeyi, for allegedly raising false alarm on the disappearance of his manhood in the public. The accused, 32, who resides at Oja Street in Orile, is facing a two-count charge of assault and raising false alarm in a Magistrates'Court in Tinubu, Lagos.

The Police Prosecutor, Sgt. Daniel Ighodalo, told the court that the accused committed the offence on Oct. 23, at about 1.30 p.m. at Agarawu Street on the Lagos Island.

He said that the accused claimed that the complainant, Princess Ajayi Olabode, had bodily connection with him, adding he immediately felt something leaving his body.

“Fadeyi alleged that after the woman hit him, he felt a shock and that after he touched his private part; he discovered that it had disappeared.

“He raised an alarm and people immediately gathered to plead with the complainant to come back his private part,' 'he added.

Ighodalo said that the complainant claimed that she was beaten up because of the false alarm which Fadeyi raised. The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
