Weird: Zimbabwe Women To pay with Chickens, Goats and Beers as fine For Wearing Mini-skirts

Numerous ladies in the Zimbabwean Gutu district in Masvingo have reportedly had to part some of these livestock as punishment for wearing trousers and mini-skirts.
Based on thezimbabwemail, the women have had to pay for fines for wearing mini-skirts and trousers after being arrested by the town's ‘cultural police ', with the most up-to-date incident taking place
last week.

The web site also reports that most of the fines are anticipated to be combined with five litres of traditional beer. Some lucky women however got away with only a warning and instructions to change into “more decent clothing”, the internet site reports.

“A girl teacher at Nerupiri Primary School was ordered to go back and dress properly otherwise pay them some cash if she wanted to wear trousers. If you have emerged wearing trousers, the chief's aides drag you behind the council bar at Nerupiri Shopping Centre and demand money,” a source reportedly told thezimbabwemail.

The area chief's aide defended what saying that a few of the women's dress codes were ‘nauseating '.

“We try our level best to steadfastly keep up cultural values but some of those women's dressing are nauseating. How can one stand before her father dressed that way?

It is not right and we will continue doing this until it gets into their heads,” he was quoted saying.
