Eaglets Can Become Eagles,says Keshi

Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, has heaped praises on players and members of the specialized crew for making the nation pleased at the just finished U17 Earth Glass championship in the United Arab Emirates.

"I am specially proud of the coaching crew, simply because they again revealed that some of the best coaches are from Africa. I hail the Minister and the NFF for giving a complete good atmosphere for the team and hopefully it'll continue being like that the times.

Keshi then spoke how he thinks members of the U17 national team may enter the Super Eagles, which he heads. To him, there must be a continuous push for the boys towards the key national team, whilst he contends that era has got nothing to do with the players getting into the Super Eagles.

"I will need the players to take the natural way of maturation, enjoy for the Flying Eagles, then maybe the U23 and then we can begin looking at them. Throughout that period we may find 1 or 2 of them that may make influence in the national team and we will not wait to invite them", he said.

"Yet again I say thanks to Instructor Manu Garba, Emmanuel Amunike, Nduka Ugbade and Emeka Amadi, they've actually helped to stenghten the crendentials of the Nigerian coaches and made people pleased not just as a nation but as an organization and also in the career, may such things continue to take place to Nigerian football."
