Laide Babayale has seen it all. Laide was there when Fela was arrested in “Alagbon Close”, for abducting underage girls. Indeed Laide was among the “underage” girls.Laide later became Queen Laide Anikulapo-Kuti, as she married Fela in the historic 27 wives marriage. She has lived a whole Fela life.
