For any country’s economy in the world to develop it has to be an economy that encourages production, industrialization over consumption unfortunately Nigeria is a consuming economyNigeria as a country today is economically lagging behind in the world because of many factors which include the unstable economic policy, High consumption rate and poor industrialization strategy. But the major setback for Nigeria has always been High consumption rate.

The developed economies of the world especially America has always at one point or the other in history done thing (given us baits) that would setback our economy for years. A very good example is the IMF loan Nigeria took in the 80′s . . . even though we have offset the debt we are still paying bitterly for it till date!
Another significant example is MTN! Over 90% of the revenue generated by MTN in Nigeria is exported back to South Africa with no significant contribution to the development of Nigerian economy.

 

PayPal is on the verge of destroying Nigerian Economy the more the forces behind the PayPal Corporation are out to set back Nigeria’s development. I guess you are already wondering what I mean.
After so many years of stigmatizing Nigeria and refusing to allow us use its services finally agreed to make it available. Alas on the verge of celebrating. The bread given to Nigerians turns out to be “poisoned bait” what do I mean?

PayPal has partially made it service available allowing Nigerians to pay for products via their PayPal account. Unfortunately Nigerians cannot receive money through their PayPal account, Nigerians cannot receive money through their PayPal account, Nigerians cannot earn income through their PayPal account, but we can keep consuming through our PayPal account.This is going to cause some economic deficit and setback on our economy.
For once Nigerians Lets stand up against their bias and “insultive” policy. Please let us all sign the petition against PayPal on change.org and reuse to use PayPal services till PayPal removes this restriction on our PayPal accounts
Boycott all services rendered by PayPal until we can fully Earn / receive payment via pay pal. Thank you! For once Nigeria’s lets stand up for what is right!!!
