Two students from the University of Pretoria (UP) sparked a massive debate on social media sites after this picture of them dressed in stereotypical domestic worker costumes with their faces painted black appeared on Facebook. Even though the photo was later deleted from Facebook, it swiftly disseminated on Twitter, reigniting a fierce social media conversation on racism in South Africa.
