DJ Xclusive has denied reports that he is the biological son of Africa's richest woman, Folorunsho Alakija. The Empire Mates Entertainment disc jockey has reacted to a report by International commerce magazine, Business Insider, which listed him amongst the world's hottest billionaire offsprings. According to the report, DJ Xclusive (Real name Rotimi Alakija) was reported to be the offspring of Folorunsho Alakija, No. 698 on the Forbes list and the richest woman in Africa, worth $2.6 billion.
But speaking to Pulse in a telephone conversation, DJ Xclusive's rep denied the reports. “It's all a mix up. DJ Xclusive is not Folorunsho Alakija's son, Folorunsho is his aunty."
His reps further explained that Folorunsho Alakija also has a son named Rotimi. DJ Xclusive, is a British Nigerian DJ, producer, and artist. With a degree in Financial Computing, he began his career as a DJ in 2003 at U.K. dance clubs like Vendome and Tribeca Nightclub to make extra money. He's since gone on to win awards, becoming an On Air Radio DJ for Cool FM Lagos, and is signed to the EME Record Label. The report from Business Insider failed to mention other Nigerian celebrity offsprings, which include, Florence 'DJ Cuppy' Otedola (Daughter of Billionaire Oil Magnate, Femi Otedola), and singer David 'Davido (Son of Billionaire businessman, Deji Adeleke).
