Business Tycoon, Aliko Dangote Set to invest $2.3bn in northern Nigeria



Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, says he would be investing $2.3bn in rice and sugar production in the north. The billionaire industrialist made this known yesterday at the just concluded World Economic Forum, WEF Africa.
He explained creating job opportunities could be the surest method to end the Boko Haram scourge. He also revealed that he could be investing a total of $12billion in Nigeria, and $4bn outside the country over the following four years.

Billionaire business man Aliko Dangote says he is set to redeem his promise of awarding $1m to the Super Eagles for winning the 2013 African Cup of Nations a year ago in South Africa. He explained this a couple of days after goal keeper and Super Eagles vice-captain Vincent Enyeama begged him and other individuals who pledged various items to the team to fulfill their promises....

Aliko Dangote Africa's Richest man joined twitter barely 48 hours ago, the business tycoon already has over 30,000 followers as at 3:40pm today(Thurs 2/1/2014)
    Nearly all important personnel's in Nigeria including celebrities, presidential aides, ministers etc, are following him on twitter but he's not following any one of them back! As a matter of fact he is not really following any Nigerian.

Aliko Dangote bags $9.2billion Profit in 2013 alone, now worth $30billion



According to a report from  Bloomberg that was released today, Africa's richest man & founder of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, made $9.2billion in 2013 alone, raising his fortune to over $30billion and making him the 30th richest person in the world.  Bill Gates is back to being the richest man in the world after making $15.8 billion in 2013 alone and raising his fortune to $78.5 billion. Bloomberg’s billionaires index showed that the 300 richest people in the world increased their wealth by $524 billion in 2013 and the aggregate net worth of the world’s top billionaires stood at $3.7 trillion at the close of market on December 31.
