POLITICIAN: Sen. David Mark denies buying the Chevy Corvette for 2face & Annie
The card on the car clearly says 'wedding gift from Senator David Mark', but the senate president's senior adviser on media, Kola Ologbondiyan, has released a statement denying it. Ologbondiya said:
Senator Mark did not visit Dubai for Tuface wedding rather he attended the 128th Inter parliamentary Union (IPU) conference currently holding in Quito, Ecuador. He was also not represented at Mr. Idibia's wedding. It is also instructive to state that the President of the Senate, Senator Mark, did not make a car donation of any kind to Tuface before departing Nigeria for Ecuador neither did he purchase nor send any car to Dubai as a wedding gift for the musician or his wife. Who made the donation on behalf of the President of the Senate?
It is therefore a puerile lie for anybody to state that Senator Mark bought a Ferrari car worth N47m for Tuface. The allegation is wicked, ridiculous and irresponsible.

I doubt a man of his caliber will buy a wedding gift and then publicly deny buying it. I'm sure 2face Idibia's team will address this when they get back from Dubai.

Annie Idibia's wedding dress not made by Kosibah
Annie Idibia reacted to stories that her wedding dress was designed by Kosiba and it costs 1.7 million.

2face and Annie’s wedding ring is said to cost a total of $12,000 and that is not all, Ayiri Emami has basically taken care of over 20 million naira expenses incurred by the wedding of these couple. Can you beat that? Ayiri paid 10 million for the Dubai wedding venue, security and food. N2.5m for the use of Jumeirah beach hotel for the church service and 2.5m to convey guests from the church venue to Royal Island Beach. His new private yacht is to be sailed from America to Dubai to ferry 2face and Annie. First class flight for 2face’s parent to Dubai and he’s to sponsor 50 people as well to Dubai for the wedding. He has also paid 911 band to play at the event. Please tell me if this is not a wedding to seriously thrill and watch out for?

Details of 2face and Annie Idibia's Dubai wedding
Let me just go straight to the point...:-). Oaken Events is planning the wedding. Yvonne Nwosu's Vonne Couture is making the bridesmaids dresses. Mai Atafo is making the suits for the groomsmen. The wedding will hold at the Sefinah Ballroom of Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Reception will hold at an exotic Island called Royal Island Beach. Guests will be conveyed in luxury boats from the wedding venue to the Island.The wedding after party will hold at Nigerian owned club, Kiza Nite Club.
The couple are inviting only 250 guests, and they will all be lodged in four different hotels - Frazier Suites, D Atlantis Hotels, Jumeirah Beach Hotel (where Annie and her people will stay) and Burj Al Arah (Where 2face, Dbanj, Don Jazzy, Davido, Timaya, Iyanya, politicians and many big boys will lodge).
Most guests will be leaving Nigeria on Thursday March 21 for the two-day wedding of the year which will hold March 22nd and 23rd and will cost over N50million. Meanwhile, all you Nigerians who live in Dubai...don't go stalking all dem celebrities at these hotels I mentioned o. OK, you can stalk them small, but not too much...:-)

Tu-baba kissed his wife during his traditional wedding at Eket in Akwa Ibom, lovely couple, so happy for them most especially Annie. I think she deserved it.

2Face Publicly Promises To Satisfy Annie In Bed
A bit of tradition was meted out on 2Face Idibia on Friday at his traditional wedding with Annie Macaulay at the bride's hometown. In the presence of top politicians like Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom State governor) and Florence Ita Giwa, 2Face was asked to touch his Joystick and make a promise to satisfy their daughter. The Idoma-born singer joyfully did.
As Esit Urua custom demands, the hometown of Annie, 2Face was asked to raise his right hand to the sky and touch his Joystick. This reportedly took place at the field of Apostolic High School, Esit Urua, where the wedding was held.
He was then asked if he still has this joystick intact after he touched it which he answered in the affirmative. The next question was if 2Face will satisfy her, as usual of 2Face, he jokingly answered yes. At this point, laughter filled everywhere.

Governor Godswill Akpabio gives 2face Idibia & Annie brand new Prado SUV for wedding gift
Governor Akpabio Splashes Prado SUV On 2Face, Annie; Promises 30-Man Team For Dubai Wedding
Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa-Ibom State has given the newly married celebrity couple, 2Face Idibia and Annie Macaulay a wedding gift. The governor, who was present at the pre-wedding party held in honour of the couple on Thursday in the state, gave a Prado SUV gift to them on their traditional wedding held yesterday. He also promised to send a 30-man delegate to Dubai for an exclusive white wedding to be held later in the month for the couple. The governor has not hidden his affection for 2Face Idibia and his wife, Annie Macaulay, who hails from Akwa-Ibom. The couple’s wedding is presently one of the most talk about weddings in town.

The ancient town of Eket, in Akwa-Ibom State lost its serenity Friday when it played host to a mammoth crowd of Nigerian celebrities who stormed the town to be part of the historic traditional marriage of superstar, Tuface Idibia and his wife, Annie Macaulay.
The traditional marriage held at the Apostolic High School, Esit Urua Community, Eket – Ibeno Road, in Uyo, the bride’s hometown, climaxed the month-long speculation that preceded the wedding.
Among the celebrities that graced were Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, Sound Sultan, HipHopWorld Magazine boss, Ayo Animashaun, Now Muzik Chief, Efe Omorogbe, Iyanya and many others.

2Face Death Rumour: My Man is Alive – Annie Macaulay
2 Face’s fiance and long time heartthrob, Annie Macaulay, has reacted to the wicked rumour that her man was involved in a Jet Ski crash while on a vacation early Monday morning in the Turks and Calcos Island.
Annie, inundated with calls and apparently worried, wrote on her BB’ status: “My fiance is WELL , STRONG n HAPPY…pls stop d rumours.” She hinted that he has since traveled to the United States to begin recording of his new album and is due to come back soon. Anne was not the only person who reacted to the death rumour.
2Face’s publicist Bayo Omisere also confirmed to WG over the phone that not only was the story untrue, it was baseless.

2face Idibia and Annie Macaulay set to wed March 23rd in Dubai
Annie herself announced the March 23rd wedding date on her Facebook page, but here's a bit more info about the wedding. Annie visited Dubai recently to look at venues for the wedding. They've found a place but are keeping that info secret until much later. The couple plan to fly a few friends and family members to Dubai for the grand wedding and 2face has booked several rooms in a few hotels in Dubai for their guests, including Burj Al Arab, the world's most luxurious hotel, where he and Annie will spend some time after their wedding.
