Vehicles Made-in-Nigeria to roll out next month – FG




Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Samuel Ortom has revealed the Federal Government's plans to roll out made-in-Nigeria vehicles into the market next month, June 2014. The Minister made this known when he received a delegation from Automobile Peugeot, France in his office in Abuja, Punch reports.

The minister, while addressing the delegation which included the company's Vice President, Mr. Yves Moulin, said the newly introduced auto policy is quite effective and is attracting automobile brands to establish assembly plants in Nigeria. Continue...

Congratulations: Chika Ike is now the ambassador for National Commission for Refugee & Displaced Persons



The Refugee commission Haija Hadiza Kangiwa on Wednesday 19th June, honored actress and UN Ambassador, Chika Ike for all her charity works as the founder of Chika Ike Foundation and also proposed to her to be the brand ambassador for National Commission for Refugee and displaced persons. In the terms of the vision of the institution, Haija Kangiwa said the aim is to protect refugees, reintegration, repatriation, rehabitation and reintegration.

In Chika's new role, she will help contribute to the vital process of finding solutions for refugee and displaced persons. United nations is also involved and Chika will be officially unveiled tomorrow June 23rd at the World Refugee Day event taking place in Abuja. More photos after the Break.

I heard from a close source to the comedian that it's a bespoke car, meaning that everything was built to Basketmouth's specification. The car is actually not sold at any showroom in the world...you can only order it. And Basketmouth's car I hear, is the only one that has been ordered in Africa. That means no one else has this car in Africa. The car sells for about 42 thousand pounds. Now that's big! Wow! Congrats Basket!!!
