My quarrel with OBJ over –Atiku

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that the quarrel between him and his former boss, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo is over.

Atiku also said that he did not harbour any “hatred or enmity” against the former President.

The former VP spoke on Tuesday, in Abuja, when he granted audience to the leaders of the Northern Youth Leaders Forum, a group that recently embarked on a mission to settle the quarrel between the former President and his deputy.

A son of a former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, called Ahmed, has said that his preference is for the People's Democratic Party to die. Ahmed's dad, Atiku Abubakar, had defected from the ruling celebration in 2007 to match for the Presidency on the system of the defunct Action Congress. He was just permitted back into the celebration on the intervention of current leader, Goodluck Jonathan who he contested against unsuccessfully.

Former VP Atiku Abubakar and Don Jazzy have sorta become buddies on Twitter. It were only available in early August following a fan asked Atiku why he doesn't share recharge cards on Twitter like Don Jazzy does and Atiku replied it's because Don Jazzy is richer than him. A fan asked him why he hasn't been sharing recharge cards on twitter like Don Jazzy and he replied saying,'I'm never as rich as Don Jazzy '.   Well, Don J who saw the tweet had to quickly tweet @ his daughter (meenaabu) to confirm if the account was real or fake. She confirmed it absolutely was his real account. Unhappy, Don gave him a shout out. He then proceeded his timeline and re-tweeted a link the former vice-president tweeted (atiku.org) and greeted him again, lol. Atiku Kneels Down In Public To Greet Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo

A rather unusual but interesting piece of news that seems to be trending this morning is that of the former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, kneeling down to greet his former boss, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Atiku and Obasanjo, who served as Vice President and President of Nigeria respectively, between 1999-2007, had an estranged relationship during the last lap of their second term in office. However, in a surprising turn of events, Atiku was reported to have knelt down and bowed his head to greet his former boss at a public function yesterday.
