Chris Oyakhilome sacks Pastor for alleged 'Blasphemy'



According to a statement read during Sunday's service by Ray Okocha, the church’s Secretary General, Pastor Michelle Okojie had been visiting church members in private and slandering the ministry.  
“It has come to our attention that Pastor Michelle Okojie has been visiting church members in private and slandering the ministry, engaging in subversive activities that are
against the scriptures.” .
Citing Bible passages from Romans 16:17-20 and Titus 3:10 wherein Christians were told to “watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles,” the church warned every member of the congregation to stay away from Ms. Okojie.

2 days ago,  Pastor Christian Oyakhilome's statement regarding the allegations leveled against him after more than a week of maintaining silence on the divorce suit filed against him by his wife. Speaking on Sunday evening during the monthly global communion service of the church, Pastor Chris had said the allegations were “crazy” and “stupid”, that everyone should instead pray for his wife, Anita Oyakhilome.

Rev. Chris Oyakhilome Has 6 Weeks To Reconcile With His Wife




There are indications that reconciliation moves are on course between the President of Christ Embassy, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome and his wife Rev. Anita who have been in the news in the past week over the divorce proceedings the latter filed. The decree nissi, with suit number FD14D01650, was filed on 9th April 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn in London by Anita’s lawyers, Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors. City People Magazine reports that, to have a divorce in the UK, both parties must have a marriage that is legally recognised in the UK, and have a permanent home in England or Wales.

Chris Oyakhilome slams adultery accusations, threatens to drag journalists to court.




Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, who is currently in divorce court with his estranged wife Anita Oyakhilome has denied adultery accusations and has threatened to sue journalists who publish stories about himself and his wife. In a statement released via his lawyer Mr. Kemi Pinheiro (SAN) a few hours ago, Pastor Oyakhilome said the accusations of adultery against him is 'false and malicious'.

"The attention of our client, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, and the church has been drawn to the wave of false, malicious and fabricated stories being published in the print and electronic media about his person, the church and a matrimonial cause between him and his wife," his attorney stated.
