Liberia: Residents claim Dogs are eating corpses of Ebola victims

Residents of Johnsonville Township, outside Monrovia in Liberia are claiming that dogs are digging up the corpses of Ebola victims buried in shallow graves in Liberia and eating them in the streets. Though security personnel guarding the region have refuted this, the residents insist this has been happening for days...that wild dogs have now been visiting 'Ebola graveyard' in Johnsonville, digging up corpses, dragging them in to the open and feeding on the flesh. They're blaming government health officials who hurriedly bury Ebola victims when they die in shallow graves at night. Now the residents fear that the dogs could pass the virus to humans.

Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Joshua, has told Ebola victims in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea to stay in their respective countries.

The clergyman made the statement after visiting government health officials implored him not to allow anybody infected with the virus to come into the church from the affected countries.

In a message posted on the church’s official Facebook page and signed by himself, Joshua cautioned those suffering from the deadly Ebola Virus Disease against “crossing borders” for any reason.
