Photos: Fenerbahce celebrate Joseph Yobo's Exit

Super Eagles defender Joseph Yobo was celebrated yesterday August 31st by his former Turkish club Fenerbahce and was also given a plaque of appreciation for serving the club well for 4 plus years.  The Turkish Super Lig club announced on Friday August 29th that they certainly were releasing Yobo as a result of restriction in the amount of foreign players, but held on to Emmanuel Emenike.

Turkish Super Lig club, Fenerbahce, announced yesterday Friday August 29th they've released Nigeria defender Joseph Yobo. Fenerbahce announced on the official website that because of restriction in how many foreign players, the club and Yobo had to part ways.

Both parties mutually consented to terminate their contract this week on the eve of the start of the Turkish top flight this term. Yobo is now expected to be honoured at Fenerbahce's opening game of the growing season against Karabukspor
