Folashade Tinubu Ojo, the first daughter of former Lagos State
governor, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has been crowned the new Iyaloja of Lagos
State and the President General of the Market Guys and Women of Nigeria.
The installment took place today at the palace of the Oba of Lagos,
Oba Rilwan Akiolu. Her appointment in July 2013, was observed and
endorsed by industry leaders of all of the 57 local governments in Lagos
State but it had been nevertheless trailed with controversies and
condemnation. Bola Tinubu's mom, Abibat Mogaji held the position before she died recently and appointed her as successor.
